During this time we have become known as leaders in quality Martial Arts instruction. We have taught over 40 000 students here at our Center and through our Self–Defense program at local Elementary and High schools.

Our programs consist of authentic and traditional Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Kobudo (weapons), Self Defense and Tai–Chi.

Martial Arts is more than just physical. It's a combination of body, mind and spirit. The Dojo is a place where you will learn and be challenged both mentally and physically and our programs are for everyone regardless of age, gender, or ability.

We are proud to be affiliated with the YKKF International. The Yudansha Kobujitsu Karatedo Federation is a fraternal organization of many different arts and styles that recognizes the intrinsic worth and value of each system.

The YKKF was founded in 1978 by Ron Yamanaka. We are proud to be part of this worldwide team of exceptionally talented people.

However, there is only one place to find Shihan Yamanaka– Bushido Kai Martial Arts. We are extremely honoured to be the only Dojo where you will find Shihan teaching.

We have built an amazing Dojo for our students over the past 17 years...and now as we welcome new members from around the world to our school, we look forward to a very exciting future.
